Wendling vineyard is in the northernmost part of Anderson Valley, Mendocino, close to the ocean. This Pinot Noir is medium in body, silky on the palate, with great fruit intensity balanced by fresh minerality.

Tasting Notes

Vineyard Notes
Farmed biodynamically, the vineyard is found northernmost in the Anderson Valley AVA and the closest to the Pacific Ocean. The vineyard is planted to a broad array of clones under the consultation of Littorai's Ted Lemon.
Winemaker Notes
Hand-harvest at night, the fruit was sorted then fermented with 8% whole clusters. 6 days cold soak, gentle punch downs 1-3 times daily, 17 days on the skins, gently basket pressed to French oak barrels. Aged for 16 months then bottled unfiltered.
