Dear Friends,
We're writing to you today to share our January 2026 Release. You may have noticed this shipment is arriving a little later than our usual December schedule. We chose to hold it back in hopes of debuting a special new project we’ve been working on; however, we are still putting the finishing touches on the packaging for that limited release to ensure it is perfect.
Instead of rushing the process, we decided to reach into our cellar and share some of our most highly-acclaimed favorites with you. Reflecting on this release, I am struck by how far we’ve come since breaking ground at Annadel Gap Vineyard in 1998. This collection showcases stunning fruit from the 2016 and 2021 vintages, highlighting the incredible work of Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky. Their winemaking mastery, paired with our "clean- farming" philosophy, has resulted in a lineup we are incredibly proud to share.

About the Wine | The Sangiacomo "Roberts Road" Vineyard is an iconic and revered site located in the renowned Sonoma Coast region of California. With its distinct terroir and meticulous farming practices, this vineyard has earned a reputation for producing exceptional Chardonnay grapes. Situated in far west end of the Petaluma Gap AVA, the Sangiacomo "Roberts Road" Vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean. The cooling maritime breezes and fog that sweep through the area provide ideal conditions for growing high-quality Chardonnay grapes.
Winemaking | The fruit was hand-harvested at night, then whole-cluster pressed. Barrel fermented, aged sur lie in small lots using new French oak barrels. Partial malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes | This wine is a masterclass in precision. Aromas of Meyer lemon, white peach, and fresh pear mingle with honeysuckle and subtle saline minerality. Layered yet restrained, it offers a refined thread of crème brûlée and wet stone, leading to a focused, lingering finish. Enjoy now or over the next 6+ years.

About the Wine | Extremely well structured, this 5-barrel selection showcases the most opulent expression of the Annadel Gap Vineyard: dried blueberry, rich cherry, and pomegranate aromas followed by a broad textured finish. This wine displays both the elegance of the cool climate influence as well as the depth and richness of the clonal selections.
Winemaking | Each Pinot Noir clone was hand-harvested at night, hand sorted, then tank-fermented in open-top stainless steel and oak uprights. Averaging 10% whole clusters, it remained on skins for 17 days, then basket pressed and aged in French oak barrels for a total of 18 months-approx. 50% new oak, 50% 2-3 years old oak.
Tasting Notes | A jewel of Annadel Gap, this wine reflects the cool-climate tension and aromatic lift that make our site so distinctive. The nose bursts
with wild strawberry, dried rose petal, and black tea, while the palate offers expressive notes of red cherry, pomegranate, and raspberry coulis. Framed by silky tannins and vibrant natural acidity, this wine captures the soul of the vineyard. Enjoy now or cellar for 10+ years.

Winemaking | The fruit was hand-harvested at night. Clones were kept separate, hand-sorted, and fermented individually. 25%-50% whole cluster, co-fermented with 3-7% Roussanne, 5-6 days of cold soak, punch downs 1-3 times daily, 14 days on the skins and basket pressed. Gravity fed into French oak (62% new). Aged 16 months on lees, gently fined and bottled unfiltered.
Tasting Notes | Born from a glorious vintage, this wine captures the elegance and power and finesse of Syrah from our home estate vineyard. It opens with intense aromatics of black tea, dried plum, graphite, and blueberry compote, layered with hints of sage, cedar, and dark cocoa. On the palate, it is structured yet graceful—deeply concentrated with notes of olive tapenade and roasted espresso, supported by fine-grained tannins. A rare treasure, it is stunning now with decanting and will reveal its deepest nuances over the next 10+ years
