Fall 2025 Club Newsletter
Dear Friends,
September is a special time in the Napa Valley, full of excitement as we bring in the harvest. Our winemakers expect the harvest to yield bright, fresh wines due to ideal, mild growing conditions despite the Picket fire and small local earthquakes. It’s a time for reflection on the vintage, and we are thrilled to share the fruits of our labor with you, our dedicated wine club members. We’re especially excited to introduce three new releases that truly represent the heart and soul of our winemaking philosophy.
As an allocation member, the following wines will be available to you in this current release:
2022 Westwood Legend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
150 Cases Produced
We’re so excited to welcome back our Legend Cabernet Sauvignon. Masterfully
blended by our winemaking team, Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky, this is
truly a legend in the making.
The 2022 vintage has delivered everything we love in a Napa Valley Cabernet. Following up the outstanding 99-Point 2021 vintqage. 2022 provided us with with a wine that is deep and opulent, bursting with aromas of blackberry, currant, and ripe plum, complemented by hints of dark fruit, petrichor, holiday spices, and dried rose petals. The palate is a symphony of rich, juicy flavors: dark berries, crème de cassis, and subtle notes of saddle leather, sweet oak, and spice. Structured tannins provide balance and length, while vibrant acidity delivers a refreshing finish. A masterpiece of complexity and elegance, this wine embodies the true essence of Westwood Estate Wine. This wine shines in its youth and will reward over the next 25 years.

2022 Westwood Estate Twenty-One Rhône Red-Wine, Annadel Gap Vineyard
150 Cases Produced
The Twenty-One Rhône Style Red Wine is a project born from our founding
partner Carl Stanton’s dream to produce wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côte-Rôtie caliber. Now in its fifth year, the 2022 vintage of this Syrah-dominant blend is a testament to the exceptional terroir of our Annadel Gap Vineyard.
Dark purple with an almost opaque edge, the 2022 Twenty-One Red shows cracked black pepper, crushed violets, blackberry and a whiff of smoked bacon. The wine's full body matches its lifted aromatics with a ripe, viscous, supple, and velvety texture. Rounded in mouthfeel and long on the finish with an evocative spice. A wine that can be consumed now and will age for another 18-20 years.

2023 Westwood Maximal Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
150 Cases Produced
A testament to the artistry of winemaker Atelia Melka, this Cabernet Sauvignon is a brilliant expression of Napa Valley’s renowned terroir and showcases an elegant balance of vibrant fruit and sophisticated complexity. With its limited production, it represents a unique and highly sought-after bottling that captures the spirit of the 2023 vintage.
The wine presents a beautiful, deep ruby color. The nose is immediately captivating, with a perfumed bouquet of mulberries, lavender, and crushed violets. Layers of woodsy earthiness emerge, revealing notes of dark soil, graphite, and roasted espresso bean. On the palate, cassis and black cherry rise to the fore, beautifully complemented by a creamy undertone of raspberry mousse and a hint of sweet tobacco. The wine is structured yet graceful, with dusty, fine-grained tannins that provide a long, lingering, and elegant finish. This is a wine that drinks beautifully now and will continue to evolve and impress over the next 15 to 20 years.
