Classic profile of strawberry, black cherry, cola, and deep red rose petal with a fresh sappy balance, underbrush, and eucalyptus. Baked cranberry and plum yield to toffee and dark chocolate, coffee bean, and baking spices. Full and weighty, yet brightly counterbalanced with floral and spring rain notes.
92 Points - Prince of Pinot
Moderate garnet color in the glass. Nicely appointed aromas of cherry, spice, earthy flora and toast. Mid weight plus flavors of black raspberry, blueberry-pomegranate, black tea, Hoison and earth. There is good length in the mouth and on the finish that is juicy and intensely fruity. Oak shadows the background as a compliment. Considerably better when tasted the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle.

The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create various soil types.
Production Notes
Calera clone was hand-harvested at night and arrived at the winery by daybreak. e fruit was hand sorted and fermented individually. 6 days cold soak, gentle punch downs 1-3 times daily, 15 days on skins & gently basket pressed. Gravity fed to French oak barrels (50% new). Aged 16 months on lees, gently fined, bottled unfiltered.
