Gravity fed into French oak barrels (45% new). Aged 16 months on lees, gently fined, bottled unfiltered.
Earthy, sousbois tones with pine resin and redwood sap, black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, cassis, dried rose.
The dark fruit nose gives way to earthy porcini mushrooms, potpourri, chocolate covered cherries in cordial, tar and dried cranberry. Fine and velvety in texture, lush mid-palate with chewy, elegant tannins.
