This single-clone Pinot Noir just sings with classic Pinot characteristics. Fresh strawberry and dark cherry lead to notes of dried crushed leaves and eucalyptus.

This dark and juicy single clone Pinot Noir explodes with intense aromas of wild strawberry and mulberry, slowly opening to spices of cinnamon stick, clove and cocoa powder. The palate fills with juicy flavors of cranberry and boysenberry, as dark chocolate and earthy richness hit the mid-palate to be powerfully finished with shaved milk chocolate and dried lavender.

93+ Points - The Wine Advocate

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2016 Pinot Noir Calera Clone Annadel Gap Vineyard offers notes of crushed redcurrants, black cherries and black raspberries with hints of earth, Ceylon tea and dried Provence herbs. Medium-bodied with a firm frame of fine-grained tannins, the palate yields loads of delicate red and black fruit layers with a long, refreshing finish.

93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck

Seeing 30% whole clusters in the ferments and 16 months in 50% new French oak, the 2016 Pinot Noir Calera Clone offers more dark cherry and floral notes as well as hints of stems, forest floor, and white pepper. Medium-bodied, silky and elegant on the palate, it has loads of character, integrated acidity, and a silky, seamless texture. It’s another terrific wine from this estate that can be drunk today or cellared for 7-8 years or more.

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast

Juicy, savory and earthy, this is a gorgeously complex and expressive wine from one clone, brimming in dried herb, sage and firm tannin. Structured and offering breadth across the balanced palate, it finishes in bright tangy acidity.

Vineyard Notes
The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create a wide array of soil types. Ideal growing conditions, varied soils, and our minimal-impact farming methods yield precise, balanced fruit.
Food Pairing Notes
Enjoy with cedar smoked salmon, crispy-skinned duck breast or truffle risotto.
