Vineyard Notes
The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create various soil types.
Production Notes
The fruit was hand-harvested at night and arrived at the winery by daybreak. Varietals were kept separate; the whole cluster was pressed. Native yeast began primary fermentation in an egg-shaped vessel. Primary fermentation finished in neutral French barrels & puncheons for four months, blended and finished in stainless steel for an additional two months. Lightly fined and filtered.
