Vineyard Notes
Located in the extreme southwest pocket of the Sonoma Coast in the newly-formed Petaluma Gap AVA, this vineyard exemplifies all that we love about Pinot Noir. Steep elevation changes, diverse clonal selections, heavy early morning fog, and windswept afternoons to cool temperatures; this is Pinot heaven.
Production Notes
Both clones were hand-harvested at night, then sorted and fermented individually. 6 days cold soak, gentle punch downs 1-3 times daily, 16-18 days on the skins, gently basket pressed to French oak barrels (30% new). Aged for 16 months, then bottled unfiltered.
