2018 Westwood Roussanne, Annadel Gap, Sonoma Valley
In Stock
A medium-bodied wine that offers an alluring orchard-fruit nose of ripe peach and pear, as well as notes of lemon candy, honeysuckle, and wet stone minerality. The lovely fruit continues on the palate, where the pear is accompanied by distinct notes of waxy raw honey, accentuated by harmonious acidity, with hints of lemon cream and sweet thyme.
93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
"Bright, juicy notes of lemon zest, white flowers, and salty minerality emerge from the 2018 Chardonnay Sangiacomo Roberts Road. It's medium-bodied and has bright acidity, rock solid balance, and a great finish."

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
100% Roussane, clone 468.
The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create a wide array of soil types. Ideal growing conditions, varied soils, and our minimal-impact farming methods yield precise, balanced fruit.
Winemaker Notes
Fruit was hand harvested at night then whole cluster pressed at the winery. The juice was fermented in a neutral French oak barrel and a stainless steel drum then aged in stainless steel drums for 4 months, where it went through partial malolactic fermentation. Gently fined and filtered.
Food Pairing Notes
This wine is looking for spicy grilled sausages and lively summer salads to spend lazy summer days with.
