2018 Westwood, Rosé, Annadel Gap, Sonoma Valley
In Stock
This wine opens with intense muddled strawberries and ripe red fruits, followed by a distinct stone fruit component of peach and nectarine. The first sip is utter bliss and reveals more red fruit bursting across the palate, followed by a bright acidity and lingering finish of grapefruit rind and perhaps a little confectionary note. Great with all summer activities but try this with spicy Korean tacos or smoky barbeque for a unique pairing.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create a wide array of soil types. Ideal growing conditions, varied soils, and our minimal-impact farming methods yield precise, balanced fruit.
Winemaker Notes
Grenache and Counoise were hand harvested at night then whole cluster pressed together and stainless steel fermented at a cool temperature to preserve freshness and aromatics. The wine did not go through malolactic fermentation, was aged in stainless steel and then gently fined and filtered.
