2017 Westwood, Rosé, Annadel Gap, Sonoma Valley, Magnum
In Stock
Flinty and expressive with pink rose petal, wild raspberry, strawberry, hints of jasmine tea, and wild herbs. Big juiciness balanced with a fine, silky texture. Strawberries, and raspberries gives way to bramble and bright red fruit notes (cranberry, forest fruit) finishing with blood orange and a dry, fresh minerality.

Production Notes
We intentionally picked our Pinot Noir, Counoise and Mourvèdre early, then pressed whole clusters, to make this bright and expressive Rosé. The Syrah was collected as saignee, or 'bled off', from the sorting line. All varietals were individually fermented in neutral French oak, aged sur lie for 4 months, then underwent partial malolactic fermentation, to be blended and matured for an extra 2 months. Gently fined and filtered.
