2018 Estate Pinot Noir Clone 667

2018 Estate Pinot Noir Clone 667

Ripe raspberry, juicy cranberry, with hints of mint and pine needle mingle with a rich, powerfully compacted mouthfeel. Fine grained powdery tannins with nicely integrated oak make for  elegant length with notes of crandberry & blood orange rind on the finish. The more heodonsitic and exuberant of the clonal siblings in this year's selection, the 667 shows precision in the attack and persistence in length of the finish.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create a wide array of soil types. Ideal growing conditions, varied soils, and our minimal-impact farming methods yield precise, balanced fruit.
Winemaker Notes
Hand-harvest at night, the fruit was sorted and destemmed. 6 days cold soak, gentle punch downs 1-3 times daily, 14 days on the skins, gently basket pressed to French oak barrels (57% new). Aged for 16 months then bottled unfiltered.
