2019 Westwood, Rosé, Annadel Gap, Sonoma Valley
This wine was picked with intention to become a rose and its expression showcases this. The true Grenache fruit comes through, with notes of strawberries and and pomegranate, and fresh summer watermelon. The delicate notes of rose petals and mineral balance the juicy berry notes to create a wine that is perfect for warm days on the patio.
22.7 Brix at Harvest
The Grenache was hand-harvested at night, whole-cluster pressed together, and stainless steel fermented at a cool temperature to preserve freshness and aromatics. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation, was aged in stainless steel, and then gently fined and filtered.
