2020 Westwood, Rosé, Annadel Gap, Sonoma Valley
In Stock
This wine was picked with the intention of becoming a rose, and its expression showcases this. The true Grenache fruit opens with intense aromas of strawberries, distinctive notes of stone fruit, and a zesty splash of grapefruit and lime, and touches of minerality. The first sip is sublime, with more red fruit bursting forth, followed by a bright acidity of fresh grapefruit that lingers to the finish. Perfect for warm days on the patio.

Vineyard Notes
The Annadel Gap Vineyard is a special place. Located between Mt. Hood and the Sonoma Mountains, our site is characterized by thick morning fog and strong afternoon winds. Alluvial, glacial, and sedimentary influences create a wide array of soil types. Ideal growing conditions, varied soils, and our minimal-impact farming methods yield precise, balanced fruit.
Production Notes
The fruit was hand-harvested at night and whole-cluster pressed. The juice was stainless steel fermented at a cool temperature to preserve freshness and aromatics. Undergoing malolactic fermentation, it was aged in stainless steel and then gently fined and filtered.
