The phenomenal 2021 vintage has delivered everything we love in a Napa Valley Cabernet. Meticulously blended by winemaking masters Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky, this wine is the quintessential expression of the vineyards we partner with in the Napa Valley. Deep and opulent, it bursts with aromas of blackberry, currant, and ripe plum, complemented by hints of dark fruit syrup, holiday spices, and dried rose petals. The palate is a symphony of rich, juicy flavors: dark berries, crème de cassis, and subtle notes of saddle leather, sweet oak, and spice. Structured tannins provide balance and length, while vibrant acidity ensures a refreshing finish. A masterpiece of complexity and elegance, this wine embodies the true essence of Westwood Estate Wine.

"Organic and Biodynamic vineyards add to the optimum reinforcement of this spectacular 20- month French-oak aged Cabernet Sauvignon. Chewy, grippy tannins and a foundation of graphite meld with notes of licorice, black olive, and blackberry. This massive red surges with energy and power, maintaining its luxurious finish with tobacco and black cherries."

95 Points | Decanter Magazine

“This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Keller Yountville Vineyard on State Lane in the Yountville AVA and the Alsace Vineyard further south around Napa. Grapes are hand-harvested at night, hand-sorted, and separated into lots, then fermented individually in stainless steel tanks and a French oak upright tank with 40% whole cluster and an average of three days cold soaking with up to 22 days on skins. Aged 20 months in 60% new French oak. Opaque ruby colour. Blackberry and black cherry fruit, sage, thyme, rosemary, and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with a core of salted crushed mineral stones and muscular tannins that build through the long finish. Carl Stanton owns Westwood, and Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky handle winemaking.”
